Do you like walking or riding the wonderful trails at Walnut Mountain or a leisurely stroll down the Liberty Rail Trail? Now is your chance to help keep these trails looking beautiful! LibertyBikeTrail.org is offering a special fund raising opportunity this year to assist in their 2012 campaign to keep Liberty Beautiful, Fun, and Fit or BFF. The club is offering their 2012 Team Jersey at only $50 so you can show off that you are a BFF of Liberty Trails all while helping LibertyBikeTrail.org’s Liberty BFF program!

This year’s jersey is perfect for not only biking but it’s a BMX/Freeriding style jersey. It’s loose and long-sleeve, perfect for ATV riding, dirt bikes, or just wearing around town. The jersey is blue and white and features LibertyBikeTrail.org logos along with the logo of their team’s corporate sponsor LS Direct Marketing (http://www.ls-direct.com).

Sizing is S,M,L,XL, and XXL. And the price is a $50 tax deductible donation. Stop in to the Liberty CDC offices at 167 North Main Street (Municipal Building) and drop off a check with sizing, call the Liberty CDC at 845-292-8202, or mail a check to the address below. You can also reserve one via e-mail at ride@libertybikeTrail.org. Checks must be made out to the Liberty Community Development Corporation.

Mail Checks to:
167 North Main Street
Liberty, NY 12754

Your donation this year will help build new trails, provide new signs at Walnut Mountain, new flowers, and more!

For years bicycling and other outdoor activities in Sullivan County have been very limited. The support from local municipalities was non existant, and the desire to invest in eco-friendly tourism was limited to a few. A few residents took note of these disparities. After experiencing how other communities became tighter and healthier through cycling, they new the time was now to change the way Sullivan County was. Thus came the birth of LibertyBikeTrail.org in January 2007.

Our goals as an organization are to promote community bike trails, make residents aware of the benefits of bicycles, hold events where all skill levels and all ages can participate, and promote bicycle riding to the youth of Sullivan County.

We are located in the center of Sullivan County, Liberty New York. Our Bike Trails are where bicyclists, hikers, residents, and tourists can have the Liberty to enjoy the natural beauty of Sullivan County. Our members strive to open and support community trails in Sullivan County.

LibertyBikeTrail.org now has over 250 members in 15 States and 5 Countries, all of who have an un-dieing love for the natural beauty of Sullivan County.

Together we are changing the history of the county! Our efforts will make the area healthier, bring in eco-tourism, support local business, build close-knit communities, reduce pollution, and best of all – bring outdoor fun to everyone!
